John and Mary Souza opened The Parsonage Bed and Breakfast in 2010. It brings a circle of old world charm to a modern setting.
Two rooms are available. The King Room features a California king bed, chair, nightstand and dressers. The Antique Room offers a queen bed graced by an 1850 black walnut headboard. This room is served by a dresser, a table and chair, and full closet. Guests have a bath and a half.
Each room has a flat screen with Netflix, DVD player, small refrigerator and air conditioner. There are cable, HD, widescreen TVs in the living room and guest sitting room with blue ray players.
A microwave is available on the credenza in the guest sitting room. The credenza also features binders containing extensive historical research about the home, its inhabitants and the construction renovation done by the owners.
There is free wireless internet and a printer is available. Guests also may use the laundry room.
Lovely gardens surround the home. Guests will enjoy sitting in the gardens, or under the shade pavilion in the backyard. The hot tub features standard seating and a lounger to relax tired feet and legs. Beach towels, robes, pressed cotton sheets and soft fluffy bath towels are provided.
The Parsonage was featured in the 2017 Gig Harbor Garden Tour, the 2013 Christmas Tour of Homes, and also was awarded the best Bed & Breakfast in Gig Harbor in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
